Not worth visiting!

Typical Texas...

Not worth visiting. But its something different. I definetly don´t reccomend anyone to go way out of their way to go to Abilene, but its typical Texas. Dry, not much things to do, and it has its own kind of beauty that only a Texan can really understand.

I was excited to get back into Dallas. Civilization.

TYPICAL TEXAS????

I guess you have never been to central Texas in the Hill Country, Austin comes to mind. Abilene is NOTHING like the Hill Country – it’s completely different. Maybe you should venture out of Big D and the concrete jungle and see the pretty parts of Texas. Maybe you just haven’t been in Texas long enough to know how different all parts of Texas are…
