It may sound like a cliche but when i first saw La Tour Eiffel, i shed a tear. You always see it in pictures or on TV and know what it looks like but in person it is such a different experience. It glows. The paint in pictures looks black or brown but in person, its a bronze and when the lights hit it, it shimmers.
