Gorditos Healthy Mexican Food

Worth visiting!

Toddler sized burritos  — 2 years ago

Every city needs a place that serves $5 burritos the size of toddlers.

This place also reminds me, a bit, of many festive authentic Mexican places in California, and comes closest here. My only minor complaint is that the veggie burritos could have a bit more flavor. But, at least they make up for relative lack of flavor with SIZE.. and really tasty chips ‘n’ salsa.

Bingo!

..cuz I did just that the other day! Good call. (I’m going through my pics right now and will write an entry for such a tacobego very soon. :) It’s Taqueria La Carreta in Shoreline, btw)

145th is the Seattle/Shoreline city limit, and I know Taqueria La Carreta is in Shoreline further north, so no, it’s not the red van. It’s located in a gas station lot (which I think is a 76 station) on the east side of Aurora.

It’s good, but not “Mexican food shrine” good. I’d happily stop by again, though. I can’t vouch for the meat dishes however. That said, there were certainly people driving to the place from elsewhere to get food, so it certainly is a lunch hub.

I like it better than Gordito’s, though, as far as flavor.

Anyway, Taqueria La Carreta
