The one chunk of Iceland that gets nailed by the Arctic Circle.
Quite literally. It’s a tiny island just a ferry ride away north of Akureyri. I’m not sure what is there besides lodging, but it is the one place in Iceland where you can experience a truly sun-less and sun-ful day each year, given its latitude right on the Arctic Circle. December 21st/22nd and/or June 21st/22nd would be the days in question, respectively.
