Worth visiting!

I’m still here, actually :) Too bad my only choices are ‘I want to go’ and ‘I’ve been’, in this connected world ‘I am here’ should be the third option :P

Anyhow, again with the work travel, so a lot of hotels, airports, offices, bars. Even so, the colleagues took me out last night and we painted the town red. I am still nursing a killer hangover.

It looks like a lovely place to visit in summer, and it’s going into my wishlist.

The Finnish people can seem a bit cold and distant at first, but they’re really friendly. Stubborn, maybe, but definitely friendly :P

it’s not too bad: around -8 degrees celcius. Had I been here two weeks ago it would’ve been -25.

The shot was from a nearby tower/restaurant/bar thingie, worked out pretty well. I took some panorama shots but I forgot to load the photo stitching software on my notebook :(

so if you were wondering why I haven’t been cheering left and right, I was traveling :)

No, I did not disappear :) sometimes real life gets real busy.

Photo stitching is when you take many (smaller) pictures of say, a landscape, taking many pictures while you move the camera left to right (or up to down, or whatever). Then you load these pictures into the stitching software and that automatically combines these pictures in one big picture. For instance, here is one I made when I was in Moscow.

The ‘wrinkle’ is a simple image of some paper, feel free to use it if you like it. The rest of the blog was a lot of coding and ‘borrowing’ code.
