Just a shot I snapped from the window of our hotel. If I were a better photographer with a better camera you’d see how vibrant and lovely the flowers were. We were in a back room and it overlooked all these houses and building rooftops, and past them there was just fields and green. Here’s another shot of the town from atop the Rocca.

Oh, and I loved how the windows in the hotels there actually opened. There’s something stifling about the hotels I’ve stayed in in other big cities where you can only press your forehead up against the glass to look out.
