I spent 5 weeks here in 96, its a place which still holds a special place in my heart. I had both the best and worst experiences in my life so far. The worst was a waking nightmare after comming down with altitude sickness (I still have associated nightmares occasionally) the best… standing on the top of a 7000m peak looking at the earch curve away into the distance. I can close my eyes and go back there anytime I want.
