Windsor of course, is home to the famous Windsor Castle. It is definitely worth a side trip from London to see the queen’s favorite residence. The original castle was built by William the Conqueror in the 1070s.

The town’s high street is very quaint with lots of shops, restaurants, and pubs. And as always, the people are unbelievably kind and welcoming.
