Fantastic gallery... by Andy Kenyon

A truely fantastic and mind blowing gallery.

I understand it was built specifically to house Monet’s water lilies in two oval galleries below ground level.

We were not expecting this when we visited and the surprise when we walked in was just awesome.

If you are in Paris you have to go see for yourself.

I was captivated when there in ‘97. I believe it was closed when we were back in Paris in April, 2005. And it seems to me that I heard in the interim that the Impressionist works upstairs were moved to the Musee d’Orsay. Did I dream this? Can you report, please, what works were here, other than the Monet water lilies?
