Unbelievably packed by mamchenkov

One of the things that struck me about Malta was how packed with interesting stuff it is. I’m used to living on a small island of Cyprus (which is about 10 times larger than Malta), but it doesn’t have a tenth of all that amazing stuff.

It is amazing how so many things were packed together on a such little space – archeology and history, technology, entertainment – everything I’d ever wished for.

There is always something to see or somewhere to go. Even after two weeks I felt that I haven’t seen anything, while looking through another highlights booklet.

nice to read good comments about our island. they say Malta is very similar to Cyprus, do you think this is true? i am still to visit your island.

Well, I’d say that Malta and Cyprus are more different than alike. Cyprus, although still small, is much bigger. And it feels so. Malta is more cultural, while Cyprus is more beachy. Both have rich history, but it’s easy for an outsider to dive into it in Malta. Cyprus is more relaxed – it’s easier to rent a car, and there are places to party all night, and things like that…

Do come and visit us, see how different is is here. Although you can feel the Mediterranean spirit in the air. ;)
