I was privileged to walk through the Western Desert in March 2005 with a group of people who have become good friends. We walked from Bahariyya Oasis, through the Crytal Desert, Black Desert, Old White Desert and New White desert to be taken to Farafra Oasis after 5 days of walking. The scenery is beautiful, the solitude was spiritually awakening. I have some wonderful memories as well as buckets full of stunning pictures.
