I love Detroit, it is place I called home for many years and I remember it fondly. It is unlike any other place I’ve ever been, I’m not sure I have the words to explain it. Go, visit, and see the city with non-judgemental eyes—knowing this city changed America and then much of America forgot about it.

Here are few things to see/visit in Detroit: McGregor Memorial Building on WSU campus, Avalon Organic Bakery, Pure Detroit Design Lab, the Detroit Film Theatre, the Fisher Building, the Guardian Building, Belle Isle, the DIA, Mies van der Rohe’s Lafayette Park, the Heidelberg Project, Cranbrook (in the suburbs), and so many other things.
