Worth visiting!
A Modern Motel (in a good way)
- wants to stay in the NW neighborhood
- wants a contemporary suite (with kitchenette)
- wants easy access to the Pearl district
- wants to skip the hassles of bellhops, doormen, and parking attendants
The aesthetic reach of the hotel reminds me of the Trident in SF – but the “inn” is more of a modern motel. A block long, flat building with 2 or 3 floors, long hallways, and colorful if utilitarian furnishings. The rates are reasonably affordable, the location is convenient for exploring NW and the Pearl and is a streetcar ride away from downtown. The staff were friendly, free breakfast in the lobby, and free streetcar tickets. Kid friendly, but not kid focused.
I’d go back.
