stars hollow is supposed to represent a town in connecticut, but it is actually built on a backlot of the Warner Brothers studio in Burbank, CA and that’s where I saw it, took that picture and saw them filming a scene with the actress who plays Lorelai. If you are ever in Los Angeles, the WB backlot VIP tour is definitely worth it. You see a lot of Stars Hollow and the sound stage where Rory’s grandparent’s mansion is built plus a lot of other famous movie/TV places.
