My boyfriend and I have eaten here a few times and it’s always been good. I was excited about the pupu platter, and it was as good as the meat version I grew up with. The first time we went here, there was no sterno for the platter, so they gave us an extra appetizer item to fill the space where it usually went in the tray. They also gave my boyfriend complimentary soup since my dish came with soup and his didn’t. The basil beef was really good, although my boyfriend’s almond chicken was not very good. Since then we’ve gone back and everything has been good. The only downfall is that the restaurant has moved to a new location down the street that lacks the charm of the old location with its neon teapots on the ceiling. This place has ugly bear shaped jelly lamps instead. It’s also harder to find parking at the new location.
