my name is umer khayam and belong to the vellage TAKKAR in the tehsil TAKHT-BHAI.Now i am working in SAUDIA ARABIA in a companey.i love my takht bhai and i would like to say some words about this place.Takht Bhai (or Takht-i-Bahai or Takht-i-Bahi) is a site of historical importance in the Mardan District of the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan. It contains the remains of a famous Buddhist monastery and is listed as a World Heritage Site.

Takht means “throne” and bhai means “water”.

The Takht Bhai was a Buddhist place in ancient time. It was called Takht Bhai because the Buddhist monastery was on the top of a mountain, and on the mountain there was a stream. Now there is a small spring at the place of the stream which can be found at the bottom of the mountain.
i invite all those who have wish to see the Buddhist place in ancient time,so they must visit TAKHT BHAI.
