Worth visiting!

Born & Raised in Beaufort

I love Beaufort, through and through. I lived there for 23 years (up until August 2005).

It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. Young people don’t like it because there “is nothing to do” but really there’s tons to do! Spring and Summer are fabulous. Beach, sandbars, boating, fishing, the waterfront park. Beaufort probably has some of the best restaurants a town can offer… especially for it’s small size. Almost any restaurant downtown is delicious and there are several wonderful restaurants around town.

Although it’s small, it has a lot to offer.

Gorgeous. I miss it so much.
It’s my favorite place in the world.

You couldn’t be more accurate about Beaufort. There are so many secret places that I have learned about through the years and if you have a boat, it seems like the possibilities are endless.Today I found an island with at least one goat. That was exciting. It is definitely one of the last if not the last hidden coastal towns in the south.Unfortunately that isn’t lasting much longer, but I will always remember it for how it was.
