i went to yemen in 2001- sanaa, ibb, taizz… it was a bit of a challenge getting around- we often had a police escort when going between towns but the stunning scenery, architecture and culture made it all worth while…it really is one of the most beautiful and interesting countries i have ever seen….if i would fault it at all, the food was a disappointment…
