Warner Bros Studio Tour

Worth visiting!

We visited here on our honeymoon  — 2 years ago

We went on a really hot day in April 2001 when most of the people in LA were at the beach. We didn’t have to wait in a queue for a ticket. We had fun going round the studios in a cart. We went inside the wardrobe dept and the props/furniture dept.

I learnt a lot about studios and the film industry. A good eyeopener. No rollercoasters or rides but this studio tour is about the studio and films.

My best moment, which I had to wait ages and ages for as it was near the end of the tour, was visiting the ambulance bay of the ER set. WOW

It was great to be on the set

It’s not like a rollercoaster adventure park. It is a working studio and there is a lot to learn and see. I think it would be a good first step if someone wanted to get into films but didn’t know where their talents would fit in.

One of my favourite shows. My 13 year old wants to be a doctor so it’s one of those shows that we watch together.

I know it's only a fictional place

...but I really enjoyed this part of our trip.

I can’t miss an episode and am currently watching old seasons (started with the first obviously) between current seasons.
Hubby met me about season 3-4 but it wasn’t until he moved in about season 5-6 that he started watching it too. He’s finding out why X doesn’t like Y and no-one likes Z (who he previously felt sorry for but now doesn’t).
It’s fun.
