I have been living in Germany for the last 8 years and I am in Munich for the last 3 years. It is a fantastic city to live in! Great lakes around, awesome ski slopes just an hour away, clean and safe city. There are also picture-perfect camping sites around, if you need to get away from it all.

Of course, everyone knows about Oktoberfest.

People are a bit too conservtive for my taste though.
