I’m sorry to say that I don’t know much about the McLeod history. I’m actually McLeod myself! Have you tried to search on genealogy sites? There are a lot on the internet that are specifically designed to search for European ancestors that are really helpful.
Have you ever gone to any Scottish highland games? There are some in all areas of the country usually so you should find some where ever you are located in. You can google it and find results. Even if you find nothing else about your ancestors there, it’s really fun! I go to them every summer (it’s usually every weekend in various places) and have since I was born. It’s such a wonderful tradition and helps me feel more connected to my Scottish heritage.
