Worth visiting!

The University of Maine

For me, there is no other place in the world that means so much. Five of the most difficult yet most rewarding years of my life occurred here, and it will always be a part of my soul.

Comments:

UMaine grad here, too. I had the most rewarding, challenging, and rapid-growth years of my life there, too. I started school as a caterpillar and emerged a butterfly (with a degree in English, a head full of punk rock lyrics, and the desire to change the world). :-)

Still won’t give money to the alumni association, though. I didn’t like that the jocks got all the money back then, and I don’t like that the jocks still get all the money now. If I became a zillionaire, I’d fund a scholarship for an English major, preferably an undergrad with a creative writing concentration.
