We stayed at a gorgeous (and cheap) hotel called “Hotel Los Arcos”. Didn’t buy any silver, but it was worth the trip through the mountains to get here and to see the city. Like most Mexican towns, Taxco has a huge Jesus statue up on one of the surrounding hills. If can find the trail and climb up to it, you can get a great view of the city.
