Thinking myself of moving to Tacoma but having never been there don’t know where’s good and safe for a woman. (I know Eastside is to be avoided like the plague.) You’re 7 miles away—in what neighborhood? And what other areas in and around Tacoma are good? Likewise, those to be avoided? I know that with Tacoma, I have to do my research, not just land there blindly. thanks.

I normally went to downtown Tacoma which is very pretty, it’s right on the water. They’re building some new apartments there which are gourgeous but probably pricy. I live in Puyallup. It’s a safe city/town prices are cheaper. I would advise you to not live in Lakewood though they are really cleaning it up. University Place is a really safe place to live, Sumner is a small town but in the line of Mt. Rainer (which I can’t even spell __) if it blows. The Hill in tacoma is starting to get a bit bad again but it’s not terrible.
