The base is very nice and the scenery is beautiful.
My husband is in the AF and stationed here and so far we both liked the base, even though his job here is completely different than everything he has done for the AF before and in its own way very stressful and time consuming.
I am german and we’re just working on my ‘adjustment of status’ and I have to say, so far I haven’t met any predjudiced people around here. Everybody is very nice and friendly to me and always willing to help.
There are definetely worse places to be stationed at.
