Wedding In June  — 2 years ago

I have a cousin who’s getting married this year. It would be great if I could save up enough money to get out there, since I lost that opportunity the last time another cousin got married out there. This may be the year I get out there!

Make the effort

This sounds like a perfect time to visit. I’m sure you wouldn’t have to pay for hotels with plenty of relatives about.

There are other fun things to do if you’re over in June.

Wimbledon is the last 2 weeks of June (ending Sunday after the first Saturday in July) and you can get cheap day tickets if you join the long queue. This is a tradition in itself. Some madder fans queue overnight but I’ve queued from 6am before. The whole experience is amazing but don’t buy the strawberries and cream if you’re on a budget – way overpriced.

If you can make it and you know the dates you’ll be in the UK I’m sure the many 000s of UK 43Thingers can give you some other ideas.
