fayette county is one of the more strikingly american counties i have visited. interesting accents! fayette city is a small, cramped town full of peeling, old buildings.

i say it’s worth visiting because i think nearly everywhere is worth visiting. the americana factor is nice. but it’s not exactly selling hundreds of postcards.
