Ancient Russian cities located on or near the Volga. Beautiful old churches and towns. Yaroslavl, the capital of the region is great. Suzdal, a very small, old town is one of the most picturesque places I have been. I’ve spent 5 months over 5 trips to this area and am always excited to go back.
