Worth visiting!

A Local

This beautiful national park is right on my back door step! It only takes me 20minutes to get to the begining of the track. Its so popular, so best to come in off season, I go a few times a year.. sometimes I go with my family and boat into one of the many, golden sanded eqxuisite beaches and then we hike back to the begining…absolutely worth doing if you get down here..

Comments:

hello ! I’m in nelson too – ive been here a couple of months now with my husband (he’s a kiwi) and my 5 mo son. I live in Tahuna. What are some fun things to do around here that don’t involve kayaking (hehe for obvious reasons)?
Maybe I’ll see you

hello

Hi, where are you originally from?
I live in Motueka.
Tramping (hiking) is great around here. There is Mr Arthur which no doubt you can see from where u live and theres the Abel Tasman out at Marahau which is lovely but way more visitors..

Hi!
I’m from California so I feel very much at home in Tahuna where we live now right by the beach (no “beach traffic” here though!). I’ll have to check out those locations you mentioned. I’m very new so I’m still figuring out what’s what. I love it here, it’s so beautiful and the peole are so great. I think it’s an awesome community here as well. Thanks for chatting back, LJ (my son) and I are off to playgroup so maybe we can meet somewhere central sometime and go tramping or something. LJ loves being in his sling and doing little hikes (though so far, it’s just been little nature walks etc.)

See ya
Jessica
