I’m in the sixth month of my third year in South Korea. I won’t claim it’s the perfect place to live, but it is nice. I currently live in Ulsan (a ‘small’ city, only 1.3 million people), but I have traveled to some other places in the country and seen a lot of things. It’s easy to find work here, but that is part of what makes it difficult for people. Many of the places that hire easily are not the best of places to work at. I’m always happy to chat about my experiences in Korea, so if you’re thinking of making a trip out here, or even looking to spend a year teaching, I’l love to help out.
