Why, what’s wrong with the place. My parents had a couple of friends who owned cabins there in the seventies, and I spent a week a year there for four years. I’ve always had fun memories of it. It’s where I learned to ski. And now, I’m thinking of the area again.

I wouldn’t mind living there per say, but I like being closer to the city and Bend doesn’t have much of the city qualities. Thats the only thing for me that would making living there hard.

Right, Do you find it culturally plastic? It felt like that in 1973
but I thought it might have kind of “worn in” over the years.
Lack of Urban Effect probably can be said for most of Oregon, save Eugene and Portland, and to a lesser extent Ashland. I guess you have to be from there.
