I asked people in New York about where to get great pizza. I hoped they’d tell me about some great place hidden away in the East Village or something. But a couple of them mentioned really great pizza in New Haven. So why did I go to New York? Obviously, I should have gone to New Haven.

New Haven has some great pizza! When you visit you want to head over to Wooster Street. The street is lined with nothing but small apartments and Italian resturants. There is also a festival that takes place there annually. I would suggest checking out Sally’s or Pepe’s for some really good (and famous) pizza. I also personally like Abates. Expect a long wait at any of them (especially on the weekends…there are lines out the door).
