My girlfriend is from here…from the south island, the only island ive been to which is also apparently the only worthwile one to go to if your interested in the scenery that NZ is known for. im originally from tasmania so its similar except NZ just has colder wheather, bigger mountains and more snow. i loved it there and hope to be returning sometime in the new year :D
