Japanese Animation — 2 years ago
I’ve been nostalgic for old TV cartoons and animated movies (Japanese, American, etc.) that I watched as a kid for some years now. And DVD’s have been coming out a lot lately, and the ones I have are: Maya the Bee (in French), Le Petit Castor (not sure what the English title is, but if I were translate it word for word, it’d be The Little Beaver), Lucky Luke (in French), Smurfs (in French). There are 2 production houses in Tokyo “Toei Animation” and “Nippon Animation” (that I know of). These are the 2 production houses for most of the Japanese cartoons and movies I used to watch as a kid. And if it’s possbile, I would really love to visit them and also look for shops who sell DVD’s or old TV cartoons and animated movies (hopefully they include English tracks).
Man I’m so nostalgic right now! I should send those production houses emails and suggest them that they put the cartoons and movies that aren’t on DVD’s yet, on DVD’s. It’d be awesome to see those again! :D
