Snow Day: Park City by Jenneffervescent
While in Salt Lake City it came to my attention that the home of The Sundance Film Festival was just a short drive away through some beautiful mountain passes.
Being from a tourist town myself the prospect of seeing a madhouse of activity on it’s quiet counterpart, the “off-season,” was curiously appealing. What we found were warm locals, unique art galleries, and breath taking scenery.
I look forward to returning wether it be for an art walk or a flurry of independent films. Some places just feel homey. Thank you to the wonderful people we met while there.
As a tip: We randomly inquired with bartenders and shopkeeps if there was a place that had a really good local feel. Every person we asked sent us up Main Street toward The No Name Saloon. Upon entering you gather why.
