Unfortunately I visited Vienna during a heat wave, which kept me from running through the place and seeing every possible thing. Also the heat made me a bit testy. But Vienna is very, very pretty. It has grandeur, but it’s the right kind of grandeur, not the stuffy boring stupid kind. There’s beautiful buildings, great museums, lovely palaces and leafy parks. Only thing that I liked slightly less was that the parks were not so much for sitting in, but more from looking at from the sidelines on a neat bench. I’m more of a slouch on the grass type of gall.
