It seems like the whole city comes out to run! by DeborahMcI

True, the crowd can be a little oppressive, but what would you expect from one of the largest road races in the world (getting close to 60,000 participants). I have participated in this race for many years as a walker, then in the past few years as a runner, and it is always a great event. People complain that it’s not a charity run, but the SportMed BC training clinics associated with the Sun Run get people all over the province moving in the middle of January every year, and I’d say that’s a pretty significant contribution to the Greater Good. Long live the Vancouver Sun Run!
