Just got back from a trip to NY and took a side trip to Atlantic City while I was there. I guess it was alright, but definitely not worth the trip. The crowd was mostly older, the casinos don’t have the over-the-top glamour that Vegas casinos do, drinks are expensive, and there’s not much else to do than gamble. If you’re into gambling it might be worth going, but if gambling all night long isn’t your thing I’d recommend paying a little extra to go to Vegas.
