I went to Judson College in Elgin! We often referred to it as the “Judson bubble,” because it seems so unconnected with Elgin and the rest of the world. But the school is growing and is now visible from the tollway. Elgin was a great town to be in/near/part of – a lot of history, lots of churches and organizations to volunteer with, shopping, and still small enough that we could go to the grocery store and see other people from school there. There’s a deep fondness in my heart for Elgin because of my four years at Judson.
