My dad almost moved to Tunisia a few years ago, but changed his plans (he ended up moving to Egypt instead, which was fine by me!), so I never got to visit. I’ve wanted to go since the moment he told me he was moving.

I think you will enjoy Tunisia. It all depends on what you want to see there. If you want to avoid tourists, stay away from the Med. resort areas. However, then you would miss the great beaches. I thought Hammamet had the prettiest beaches. They have fantastic ancient ruins in many different places in the country.
