Worth visiting!
At least it *can* be worth visiting
Nothing terribly special about the place, but there are some nice things in the surrounding area, and the scenery of the valley in general is pretty nice.

Yeah, and there’s a few others: Britt in Jacksonville, Crater Lake, the Oregon Caves… But overall, I think I’ve seen most everything I’m going to see around here: It’s been 36 years for me…

Britt’s pretty nice. It’s a music festival they have every summer, split between classical and pop/jazz/country. Nice outdoor amphitheater that seats about 2500 or so, and they pull in some pretty decent acts at times. Last year I saw Mark Knopfler, Pat Benatar, and a couple of other shows with the wife. It’s just too bad that the tickets are starting to get too expensive for me to afford to go.
Oh, and SOC is now SOU…
