not so much cuz i want to visit Iowa, cuz i really don’t have much of an opinion of this place and no one has ever convinced me that i should come here for a family vacation or wedding anniversary trip.. heh, but i’m currently enrolled in Ashford University, doing their exclusive online program from home which is in SoCal. i have the option to go to AU for graduation or just get my diploma mailed to me. well, AU would be the 5th college i’ve ever enrolled in, about to start my 5th year of classes, tests, learning, and still not having my BA in… anything. graduating from a college would be a monumentous event for me, so it would be very appropriate that i celebrate graduating college in style. if i can manage to stick with a major at AU and get my BA, then taking a trip to Iowa to proudly wear my cap and gown with my classmates in celebration of FINALLY completing this educational rollercoaster i started as soon as i graduated high school in 2004 would be a delight. for some, iowa symbolizes corn, flatlands, the middle of nowhere…. for me, it symbolizes the completion of a life goal and the enrichment of my life with the tools i need to venture off in a career. this state could mean more to me than the one i was born in. we’ll see.
