Taking a Kenai fjord cruise to the glaciers south of Seward is a bigger must than seeing the Grand Canyon, in my opinion. Large canyons don’t do much other than sit there and look stunning. Going here, on the other hand, is like entering some life-like National Geographic type dreamworld.

The wildlife, the forests, the glaciers, the ice.. my god. I did this in early July 2003… it was in the high 80s (Fahrenheit) at Seward, but the temperature dropped down almost below 60 and got windy as we approached the glaciers. They really do whip up some magic.
