Well Hazleton Hazleton, I don’t mind Hazleton too much, however..if you have never been there..It is not a vacation spot..! There really is nothing to do in the city itself. Some of its surrounding areas can be awesome if you like the outdoors and know the “secret” spots. Like cliff diving in swimming holes off the sides of waterfalls and nice places to paintball or snow tube. They are all a bit of a drive from Hazleton and really nothing a visitor can figure out on his or her own. The city itself has a very high crime rate and it is viewed as very scary but I feel safe walking around. Thats just me tho I guess. In hte summer therre is a fab festival call Rockin the Block hosted by 2 local churches that is awesome. They have a web site called rockintheblock.org but it is in desperate need of an update!
