Worth visiting!
Just love the place. You feel sooooo far away from “the world” (maybe that’s why so many Australians travel?), and it’s an awesome country.
But I still don’t understand how Canberra could possibly be the capital, with Sydney and Melbourne to choose from. Even if it was tough to choose, it couldn’t have been THAT hard?!

It really is a stunning city (and has some equally stunning food!). Melbourne I also thought was really cool. Some lovely architecture, and the easy access to the Austrlian Open tennis is a plus! Anywhere I can just turn up in the morning and wander in to watch Hingis and Kournikova play can’t be bad :-)

Yeah totally hey, having Canberra as our capital is really weird! The funny thing is, apparently, the reason why Canberra’s the capital is because in the old days Sydney and Melbourne were arguing over which city would be capital, so it was decided the capital would be neither!
