I am here (in sacramento)for school reasons, i could never imagine freely choosing to live/visit here. In fact i am transferring to Ny to finish my masters because i am so unhappy here.

Everywhere is what you make it!
I’m sorry you’re not enjoying living in the Sacramento area. Just remember that everywhere you live is what you make it. I have lived in London, Los Angeles and now Sacramento and each has their bag of charms and their bag of crap. Think about what makes you happy and seek out places to do it wherever you live!
