Worth visiting!

Family Trees: A Celebration of Children's Literature

This year is the 10th anniversary of the annual Family Trees exhibit. Trees are decorated in the theme of a particular children’s book. We go every December as a family and end up sitting cross legged on the floor in front of several trees re-discovering an old favorite or exploring a new find. The museum has a permanent exhibit about the history of the area.

Definitely worth a visit

and the exhibit will be there until January 1st. If you are in Boston anyway, Concord is just a suburb. We like annual rituals in my family and this is a really fun one.

I was just about to ask you to pardon my geographical-challanged-ness, and ask if it was anywhere near Boston! I s’pose there’s no such thing as a stupid question. :) Thanks for the head’s up, is it open on the weekends? Not exactly sure when I’m going to Boston, so I thought I’d check. :)

Open every day except Christmas

Monday – Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 5. You can take a train or a bus from Boston to Concord, but, like most things here, it is easier to get around with a car. Hope you can make it.
