I went to Holiday Folk Fair International in Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago, and I met a Turkish woman at the exhibit on Turkey, and she told me that “Istanbul is the most beautiful city in the world” when I commented that I wanted to travel there. Of all of the places I want to see in the world, I would love to go to the Hagia Sophia the most. I’ve wanted to since I saw the Portuguese movie “Um Filme Falado” this past autumn. Magnificent.
