I'm not a gambler, but I still had fun by Melinda
My friend and I went to Tunica in May to celebrate her birthday. I don’t gamble, but I still had a really good time. Tunica is a casino town, and from what I could tell, that is where everything happens, but you can still go to the casino without having to gamble a lot (or at all if you don’t want to). There are lots of concerts and shows going on, lots to eat and drink, and I was able to find several games that were more like playing arcade/video games than gambling.
If you are afraid you are going to gamble too much, set yourself a limit and walk away when you reach it. If you want to have any winnings to bring home, keep your winnings separate from your playing money, and don’t dip into them when you run out of money to play with.
It’s not a place I would probably visit again by myself unless there was a concert I wanted to see, but it was a really fun place to spend my friend’s birthday, and close enough to home to not take very long to get there, but far enough away to feel like I was actually getting away for the weekend (Something about crossing state lines, even if it is closer to home that some places in my home state!)over 7 years ago
