Tamozawa Imperial Villa was stunning, inside and out. Luckily I visited with few other tourists (it was raining heavily in summer while I was inside). The villa is beautifully preserved and the garden was very lush and well maintained. I have since returned twice, once in winter and in autumn – the gardens are beautiful in all seasons.

Definitely worth visiting!
